Jennifer Pins and Deogratious Katongole are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Jennifer is the daughter of Mike and Nancy Pins, of Marshalltown. She is a 2007 Marshalltown High School graduate. In 2011, Jennifer graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. with BA degrees in international business and reconciliation studies. She is currently employed in Cape Town, South Africa with Living Hope Ministries as a Program Support Officer

Deogratious is the son of Annet Katongole and the late Emmanuel Katongole, of Uganda. He attended the Lubiri Secondary School, Uganda and graduated in 2003. He then graduated in 2010 from the Cornerstone Institute (Cape Town) with a Bachelor of Theology degree in community development. In May 2014, he will graduate from Eastern University with a MA in International Development. He is employed in Cape Town, South Africa as the African coordinator of Nexus Vivus International, and as a professor of Community Development studies at Cornerstone Institute

The ceremony will take place on May 31 at Marshalltown Evangelical Free Church. An African reception will be held at the end of November in Uganda.
