Gerald R. Ford, who picked up the pieces of Richard Nixon’s scandal-shattered White House as the 38th and only unelected president in America’s history, died at the age of 93.

Ed Henze, formerly of Albion, was in charge of the paint shop of Walt Disney-Jim Henson Production where the TV show “Dinosaurs” is filmed. It was Henze’s job to paint all the initial characters in the “Dinosaur” family.

MHS band members Mindy Vana and Alan Sheldon helped band director Jerry Ellingson load one of the five charter buses for the trip to the Cotton Bowl Parade in Dallas, Texas.
