made an initial appearance on a

theft-fourth degree charge.

Aaron Vaughn is appointed as

counsel. The preliminary hearing

is scheduled at 1 p.m. on

Sept. 21. Denton is released on

his promise to appear.

• Tyler M. Pritchett made an

initial appearance on a probation

violation charge. Jennifer

Bonzer is appointed as counsel.

The probation revocation hearing

is scheduled at 10 a.m. on

Sept. 8. Pritchett is being held

without bond.

• Trisha K. Mundt made an

initial appearance on a probation

violation charge. Jennie

Wilson-Moore is appointed as

counsel. The probation revocation

hearing is scheduled at 10

a.m. on Oct. 6. Bond will continue

as posted until the conclusion

of this case.

• Rean Allen Webb made an

initial appearance on a theftfifth

degree charge. This charge

will be continued as a companion

with the felony charge. The

preliminary hearing is scheduled

at 1 p.m. on Sept. 6.

• Armando Lopez made an

initial appearance on a driving

while barred charge. Tyler

Heeren is appointed as counsel.

The preliminary hearing is

scheduled at 1 p.m. on Sept. 21.

Lopez is released on his promise

to appear.

• Ryan David Tish made an

initial appearance on a trespassfirst

offense charge. Tish

pleaded not guilty and a pretrial

conference is scheduled at

9:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 in Magistrate

Court.

• Juan Roberto Cortes Espinosa

made an initial appearance

through a Spanish

interpreter on a theft-fifth degree

charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed

as counsel. The

pre-trial conference is scheduled

at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 in

Magistrate Court. Cortes Espinosa

is released on his promise

to appear.

• Arturo Alonso Rico made

an initial appearance on a theftfifth

degree charge. Rico

pleaded guilty and the fine is

$65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a

$125 law enforcement initiative

surcharge and $60 in court

costs for a total of $272.75, due

within 30 days.

• Justin Duane Chapman

made an initial appearance on a

driving while revoked charge, a

speeding charge and a driving

under suspension charge. The

preliminary hearing is scheduled

at 1 p.m. on Sept. 21.

Chapman is released on his

promise to appear.

• Robert Dewayne Clark

made an initial appearance on a

driving under suspension

charge. A rocket docket pretrial

conference is scheduled at

9:30 a.m. on Oct. 27 in Magistrate

Court.

Jr. was arrested for indecent exposure.

• On Friday, Javier Lemus

Cisneros was arrested for driving

while barred.

Accidents

• On Tuesday, a truck and

trailer driven by Jeffrey Raymond

Orgell, of Iowa Falls,

was southbound on Sanford

Avenue in the outside lane

when it attempted to change

lanes colliding with a car

driven by Donna Lee Arringdale,

of Marshalltown, which

was beside it in the inside lane.

No injuries were reported.

Orgell was cited for improper

use of lanes. Damage to both

units was estimated at $1,000,

each.

• On Saturday, a vehicle

driven by Jimmie Hawthorne,

of Tama, was westbound on

Highway 30 when the front

passenger side tire blew causing

the vehicle to enter the

north ditch where it struck the

dirt and grass resulting in damage

to the front passenger side

quarter panel. No injuries were

reported. Damage to the

Hawthorne vehicle was estimated

at $1,500.
