• Christopher Ryan Jones made an initial appearance on a operation of a commercial vehicle when disqualified charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Kyle S. Blocker made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Blocker’s next court appearance is a pre-trial conference scheduled at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 and a jury trial at 9 a.m. on Feb. 28. Blocker is being held without bond.

• Benjamin Joel York, of State Center, made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge. Christian Stickrod was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22. York was released on his promise to appear.

• Tracy Nichole Earhart made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge and a trespass charge. Jeff Hazen was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22. Earhart was released on her promise to appear.

• Manuel Fujarte made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine-first offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia-second offense charge. Aaron Vaughn was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 13. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. Upon release, Fujarte will have 60 days to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court.

• Michael Bruce Johns, of Grundy Center, made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22. Johns is released through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office by 4 p.m. Friday to sign a pre-trial release agreement.
