Arrests

• On Wednesday, Jerome McDowell was arrested for operating while under the influence-third offense, driving while barred-habitual offender and open container.

• On Wednesday, Brian James Barker was arrested on a warrant.

• On Wednesday, Kerri Lee Underhill was arrested for parole violation.

• On Wednesday, Austin Bair was arrested for possession of contraband in a correctional facility, possession of methamphetamine-first offense, unauthorized use of a credit card and identity theft.

• On Thursday, April 20, Lisa Peralta Gonzales was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Thursday, April 20, Deandre Antonio Davis was arrested on a warrant from another county.

• On Thursday, April 20, James Henry Hodson was arrested on a warrant from another county.

• On Thursday, April 20, Kevin Kyle Kroeger was arrested on a warrant.

• On Thursday, April 20, Robert Grimmius was arrested for possession of marijuana-first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Friday, Dianna Fernanda Murillo was arrested for driving under suspension.

Accidents

• On Friday, a vehicle driven by Pa Hser, of Marshalltown, was northbound on South 12th Avenue when it collided with the rear of a car driven by Talia Naomi Fosness, of Marshalltown, which had stopped to turn left onto May Street. Fosness was transported to Central Iowa Healthcare after complaining of pain from bumping her head. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $500 each.

• On Monday, a vehicle driven by Connie Margaret Jackson, of Garwin, was northbound in the 2700 block of South Center Street when a deer entered the roadway and struck the Jackson vehicle on the driver’s side. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Jackson vehicle was estimated at $1,600.

• On Monday, a car driven by Jeremy Patrick Morris, of Marshalltown, was southbound on South Second Street stopped at the intersection with Boone Street when he proceeded forward colliding with the driver’s side of a pickup driven by William Lee Hobson, of Marshalltown. No injuries were reported. Morris was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way and no insurance. Damage to the Morris car was estimated at $5,000 while the Hobson pickup received an estimated $4,000 in damage.

• On Tuesday, a car driven by Pah Lo Baw, of Marshalltown, was exiting the Family Dollar onto South Third Avenue when it collided with a vehicle driven by Jeramy Mark Fish, of Urbana, which was southbound on Third Avenue in the inside lane causing it to roll onto its top. No injuries were reported. Baw was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway and violation of a instruction permit. Damage to the Baw car was estimated at $500 while the Fish vehicle received an estimated $20,000 in damage.

• On Thursday, Lisa Peralta Gonzales was cited for no proof of insurance.

• On Wednesday, Michael Travis Ferguson was arrested for sex offender-area activity violation-first offense.

Accidents

• On Wednesday, April 19, a pickup driven by Ruben Madrigal Mora, of Marshalltown, was southbound on Marshalltown Boulevard near the landfill area when a deer jumped out of the east ditch and was struck causing front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Madrigal Mora pickup was estimated at $1,500.
