Thursday

• Alex Ryan Ellis made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a contempt hearing charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is rescheduled at 9 a.m. on Aug. 16. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Theanna Martinez, of Lincoln, made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Aug. 2 in Magistrate Court. Emily Swartz is appointed as counsel. Martinez is released on her promise to appear. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Tiffany Harris made an initial appearance on a trespass charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75 plus service of warrant, due within 30 days.

• Stacey Lynn Sanders made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. Aaron Vaughn will continue as counsel. The jury trial is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on July 20 with a pre-trial conference rescheduled at 1:30 p.m. on July 14.

Friday

• Deandre Antonio Davis made an initial appearance on a introducing drugs into an institution charge, a domestic abuse assault-strangulation charge, a false imprisonment charge and a domestic abuse assault-causing bodily injury charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 17. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only. If he owns or possesses any firearms or ammunition, Davis is to contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office within 24 hours to make arrangements to surrender them. The judge order that Davis be photographed and fingerprinted in connection with these cases. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted within 60 days of his release. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Rollin Wilson Ray made an initial appearance on three counts of an intimidation with a dangerous weapon charge, a reckless use of a firearm charge and a discharge of firearms within the city limits charge. Kevin O’Hare has been hired as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 26. Ray is released under supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office by 4 p.m. today and sign a pre-trial release agreement. If he owns or possesses any firearms or ammunition, Ray is to contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office within 24 hours to make arrangements to surrender them. Three no-contact orders has been issued for the protected parties.

• Nicholas Bryant Morgan made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Darrell Meyer is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by Morgan’s parole officer. Morgan is being held without bond.

• Kaleb Lee Davenport made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 26. Davenport is released on his promise to appear.

• April Sue Stanley made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 26. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled at 3 p.m. on July 25. Bond will continue as posted in the driving case. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety in the probation violation.

• Anthony M. Banks made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 25 in Magistrate Court.

• Cody William Anderson made an initial appearance on a striking unattended vehicle charge, driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway charge, a failure to maintain control charge, a no insurance-accident charge and a use of cell phone charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 16 in Magistrate Court.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a removal of victims from a stalled elevator at 2 N. Second St., an outside rubbish fire at 2101 E. Nevada St., and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 207 W. Meadow Lane, 13 W. Main St., 206 S. Fourth Ave., 1217 Rolling Meadows Road, and 402 N. 16th St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to 519 N. Third St., a gas leak at 2901 S. Sixth St., and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 506 E. Main St., 1 W. Grant St., 122 W. Main St., 106 N. Fourth St., 2901 S. Second St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a service call at 208 E. Glenda Drive, an extrication of victims from vehicle on South Center Street, an accident, potential accident at 100 S. 18th Ave., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 20 W. Edgeland Drive, 200 S. 12th Ave., and 917 Finkle Ave.
