• Jeff Vopava, of Johnston, made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a hearing on failure to pay child support. Further hearings will be scheduled by the District Court. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this matter.

• Marissa Ann McStockard made an initial appearance on two counts of probation violation and a failure to appear for a sentencing hearing. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing and sentencing hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set in the amount of $5,000 cash only.

• A 17-year-old female made an initial appearance on a operation without registration charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $50 with a $17.50 surcharge, a $5 county enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $132.50, due within 30 days.

• Eric Lemus made an initial appearance on a possession of alcohol under legal age limit. Lemus pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Sept. 27 in Magistrate Court.

• Christina Marie Oetker made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and two counts of a failure to appear for trial charge. Christian Stickrod will continue as counsel for the trial charges. The trials will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash for each trial. Oetker pleaded guilty to the drug paraphernalia charge. The fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and court costs for a total of $272.75, due within 30 days.

• Adam Ray Bishop Sr. made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. Bishop pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Emmanule J. Dailey made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing is set at 1 p.m. on Aug. 28.

• Justin Scott Zitzow made an initial appearance on a absence from custody charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 28.

• A 15-year-old male made an initial appearance on a violation of minor license and a speeding charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. On the license violation the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The fine on the speeding charge is $125 with a $43.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $228.75. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Carsen Tyler Jon Dunn made an initial appearance on a leaving the scene of an accident charge, a no insurance charge, a no seatbelt charge and a failure to maintain control charge. Dunn pleaded guilty to the leaving the scene, seatbelt and failure to maintain control charges. On the seatbelt charge the fine is $50 with a $17.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $127.50. The fine on the failure to maintain control charge is $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195. On the no insurance charge Dunn produced proof of insurance and the charge was dismissed with court costs of $60 assessed. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Cecilia ann Howe made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Melissa Ann Fondell made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Ryan David Tish made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Tish pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $35 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $320, due within 30 days.

• A juvenile made an initial appearance on a trespass charge. This case was transferred to juvenile court.
