• Delaurentiss Caetano Arnell Thomas made an initial appearance on a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge, a possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver charge, a keeping a premises or vehicle for the purpose of using or selling controlled substances charge and two counts of a child endangerment charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 17. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days of today’s date.

• Akina Shante Fitzgerald made an initial appearance on a forgery charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 17. Fitzgerald is released on her promise to appear.

• Joseph Edwin Lyon made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 17. Lyon is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days of today’s date.

• Jinub Dak Reath made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 17. Reath is released on his promise to appear.

• Nykeisha Antoinette Thomas made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $35 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $320, due within 30 days.

• Jeremy A. Tuttle made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Desiree Leah Carmer made an initial appearance on a conspiracy to commit a non-forcible felony charge and a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 17. Carmer is released on his promise to appear.

• Eric Lemus made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for a trial on a driving under suspension charge. Christian Stickrod will continue as counsel. The trial will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Michael Matthew Roy Martinez made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, a driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway charge, a failure to yield to an emergency vehicle charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. A rocket docket pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 27 in Magistrate Court. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• On Tuesday, Manuel Garcia, 27, was arrested for driving under suspension and driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Tuesday, Jinub Reath, 45, was arrested for driving while license is denied or revoked.

• On Wednesday, Joseph Lyon, 42, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine-first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Wednesday, Gustavo Nava, 22, was arrested for driving under suspension.
