• Quannah Joseph LeClair, of Tama, made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. Darrell Meyer is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 20. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.
• Mason Burdette Thomasson made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
• Valerie Ann Villone made an initial appearance through counsel, John Dirks, on a operating while intoxicated-third offense charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 1.
• Christin Marie Campbell Martin made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge, a forgery charge and two counts of a providing false information charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Oct. 19. Bond will continue as set for the other charges and these charges will be added.
• Kim Miller made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Mary Cowdrey will continue as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Miller is released on her promise to appear.
• Quintin Orlando Mitchell made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Mitchell pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 11 W. Grant St., 16 E. Main St., 3700 S. Center St., 608 N. Second Ave., and 402 N. 10th Ave.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an outside rubbish fire at 407 S. First St., and 10 medical assists with the EMS crew to: 2802 S. Center St., 611 N. First Ave., 116 1/2 N. First Ave., 3108 S. Center St., 1006 Ratcliffe Drive, 206 Thomas Drive, 1736 Country Club Lane, 2600 block of South Center St., 19 1/2 S. Center St., and 216 Glenda Drive.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three dispatched/cancelled en routes to: Heart Avenue, 1211 W. State St., and 1211 W. State St., and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 605 Thunderbird Drive, 105 S. Eighth Ave., 504 Iowa Ave. West, 1 W. Grant St., and 3202 S. 12th St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two extrication of victims on Ninth Avenue and North First Avenue, a dispatched/cancelled en route to Highland Acres Road, a building fire at 1609 E. Nevada St., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 808 Patterson Lane, 901 W. Nevada St., 514 E. Olive St., and 609 W. Church St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims from vehicle at 1601 Lincoln Way, a dispatched/cancelled en route to 1852 Jesup Ave., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 5 S. Seventh St., 206 Nicholas Drive, and 108 S. Second St.

• On Thursday, Chelsea Reasoner, 212, was arrested for no insurance, operating a non-registered vehicle, no valid commercial driver’s license, driving while revoked or denied, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana-first offense.
• On Friday, Kimberly Marie Miller, 32, was arrested for probation violation.
