• Raymond Gene Shogren made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver charge and a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge. The public defender’s office was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 1. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.

• Hector Lizarde made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for a child support hearing. Jennifer Bonzer will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing will be by the District Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only.

• Kenneth Lloyd Carmer made an initial appearance on four counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Jennifer Bonzer was appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $4,000 cash only.

• Tyson Brian Bear made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Jeff Hazen was appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by Bear’s parole officer. Bear is being held without bond.

• Christine Lynette Alman made an initial appearance on three counts of a probation violation charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office was appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Alman is being held without bond.

• Nicholas D. Stone made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. Stone pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75 plus restitution if requested, due within 30 days.

• Chrystian Luke Dutton, of Stratford, made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with violation of a no-contact order. Jennifer Bonzer will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 6. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Adam Robert Clawson made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana charge, a domestic abuse assault-impeding the flow of air or blood charge and an assault causing bodily injury charge. The public defender’s office was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 3. Clawson was released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• On Tuesday, Thomas Niehus, 23, was arrested for assault causing minor injury-serious.

• On Tuesday, Victoria Honts, 35, was arrested for dogs at large and no proof of vaccination.

• On Tuesday, Kenneth Carmer, 58, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Tuesday, Rafael Ramirez-Cardenas, 28, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Tuesday, Ariel Gonzalez-Mederos, 21, was arrested for providing false identification information.

• On Tuesday, Derek Edwards, 21, was arrested for harassment-second degree-threaten bodily injury and assault.

• On Tuesday, Alexander Anderson, 20, was arrested for assault.

• On Tuesday, Joanna Endicott Hulsey, 35, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Christine Lynette Alman, 30, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Tuesday, Adam Clawson, 28, was arrested for controlled substance violation, domestic abuse assault-injury-first offense and domestic abuse assault-impeding the flow of air or blood.

• On Tuesday, Raymond Shogren, 35, was arrested for controlled substance violation and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.

• On Tuesday, Jana Taylor, 33, was arrested for possession of controlled substance-second offense.

• On Tuesday, Nicholas Stone, 30, was arrested for criminal mischief-fifth degree.

• On Tuesday, Tyson Bear, 34, was arrested for violation of parole.

Accidents

• On Sunday, Oct. 15, a minivan driven by Linda L. Finders, 65, of Ferguson, was westbound on 290th Street when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Finders minivan was estimated at $3,000.

• On Tuesday, Oct. 17, a pickup driven by Norman Dean Charlton, 74, of Albion, was southbound on Marsh Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway north of 190th Street. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Charlton pickup was estimated at $2,000.

• On Friday, Oct. 20, a vehicle driven by Jennifer Lynn Mason, 24, of Pleasant Hill, was northbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Mason vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
