Accidents

• On Tuesday, Nov. 7, a vehicle driven by John Peter Tolson, 76, of State Center, was northbound on Hart Avenue stopped at the intersection with Highway 30 when it proceeded forward into the path of a pickup driven by Gregory Keith Johnson, 33, of State Center. Johnson attempted evasive action, but collided with the Tolson vehicle. No injuries were reported. Tolson was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $10,000 each.

• On Tuesday, Nov. 7, a car driven by Rusty Lynn Powers, 36, of Melbourne, was southbound on Knapp Avenue when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Powers car was estimated at $5,500.

• On Tuesday, Nov. 7, a vehicle driven by Randy Joe Rosenbalm, 56, of Rhodes, was northbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer which entered the roadway causing functional damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Rosenbalm vehicle was estimated at $9,000.

• On Monday, Nov. 6, a car driven by Casey Ray Sult, 36, of Marshalltown, was northbound on Wallace Avenue when a deer jumped onto the roadway from the west ditch and was struck. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Sult car was estimated at $2,000.

• On Saturday, Nov. 4, a vehicle driven by Brittny Marie Edwards, 28, of Conrad, was southbound on Zeller Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Edwards vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

• On Friday, Nov. 3, a car driven by Joyce Elaine Regan, 58, of Cedar Falls, was southbound on Highway 330 when a deer jumped onto the roadway from the west ditch and was struck resulting in front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Regan car was estimated at $2,000.

• On Friday, Nov. 3, a pickup driven by Steven John Mroz, 57, of State Center, was eastbound on Highway 30 when it struck a deer that entered the traveled portion of the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Mroz pickup was estimated at $8,000.

• On Friday, Nov. 3, a car driven by Tonya Faye Elam, 40, of Algona, was northbound on Hart Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Elam car was estimated at $5,000.

• On Wednesday, Nov. 1, a car driven by Carmella Lea Mutschler, 66, of Gilman, was northbound on Zeller Avenue when a deer entered the roadway from the west ditch and was struck on the front passenger side. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Mutschler car was estimated at $2,000.
