• James Dayan Papakee, of Tama, made an initial appearance on two counts of a harassment-first degree charge, a child endangerment charge and a public intoxication charge. Jennifer Bonzer is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 8. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties.

• Michael Leslie Anthony made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Darrell Meyer is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Anthony is being held without bond.

• Nathan E. Priske made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Feb. 27. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Ramon Arlis Garcia made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Garcia pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Christopher Duane Petersen made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. Petersen pleaded guilty to both charges and the fines are $250 with an $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 for each charge, due within 30 days.

• Kione Jerome Donelson made an initial appearance on a possession of alcohol under the legal age limit-second offense. Donelson pleaded guilty to the charge and the fine is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735, due within 30 days.

• A 15-year-old female made an initial appearance on a curfew violation charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The court allowed 20 hours of community service in lieu of the fine and surcharge with the payment of $60 in court costs to be completed by May 31. Proof of completion is to be filed with the court on June 1.

• David R. Cox made an initial appearance with counsel, Chad Frese, on a probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Michael Johnson made an initial appearance on a supplying persons under the legal age with alcohol charge. He pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735, due within 30 days.

• Paola Ramirez Vazquez made an initial appearance on a supplying persons under the legal age with alcohol charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735, due within 30 days.

• Cora Edna Marie Mattingly made an initial appearance on a interference with official acts charge, a no insurance charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Mattingly pleaded guilty to the interference charge and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days. She pleaded not guilty to the other two charges and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 28 in Magistrate Court.

• Brandon Michael Shetler made an initial appearance on a trespass charge. Shetler pleaded guilty and the fine is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330, due within 30 days.
