• James L. Coughenour made an initial appearance on two counts of a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Coughenour is being held without bond.

• Kari Ann Roberts made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 18. Roberts is released on her promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Cheyenne Ann Tyon made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge and a interference with official acts charge. Tyon pleaded guilty to both charges. On the public intoxication charge the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The fine on the interference charge is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Clayton Gary Richard Smith made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. Smith is released on his promise to appear.

• Cole Weatherly made an initial appearance on a failure to file a written guilty plea charge. The guilty plea must be file by 1 p.m. on July 6. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.
