• Michael Joseph Curley made an initial appearance on two counts of a disorderly conduct charge. Curley pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on July 18 in Magistrate Court. Curley was released on his promise to appear.

• Krystian William Gonzalez made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled at 9 a.m. on July 13. Gonzalez is being held without bond.

• Omar Sanchez made an initial appearance on a failure to file a written arraignment charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jeff Hazen will continue as counsel. The arraignment hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on June 21. The drug paraphernalia charge will be addressed at that time. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Brandon Lee Schmidt made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a contempt of court charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is rescheduled for 10 a.m. on July 18. Bond is $1,000 cash only.

• Jacquez Jordan Nipwater, of Tama, made an initial appearance on a possession of alcohol under the legal age limit charge. Nipwater pleaded guilty and the fine is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330, due within 30 days.

• Codi Michael Heinrichs made an initial appearance on a serving to minors at parties charge and a possession of alcohol under the legal age limit charge. Heinrichs pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on serving to minors was $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The fine on the possession of alcohol charge was $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Jacob Daniel Ray Gorsuch made an initial appearance on a serving minors at parties charge, a warrant charging him with failure to appear for a pre-trial conference and a possession of alcohol under the legal age limit charge. Gorsuch pleaded not guilty to the new charges and those will be seen at the same time as the rescheduled pre-trial conference at 9:30 a.m. on June 20 in Magistrate Court. Gorsuch was released on his promise to appear.

• Marquis Shaukle Haynes made an initial appearance on a serving to minors at parties charge. Haynes pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on July 25 in Magistrate Court.

• Jaramie Bershell Trumbo made an initial appearance on two counts of a harassment-third degree charge. Trumbo pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on July 11 in Magistrate Court. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. Trumbo was released on his promise to appear. No-contact orders were issued for the protected parties.

• Shaddare Jamal Watkins made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. Watkins pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Cole Weatherly made an initial appearance on a failure to file a written arraignment charge. Merrill Swartz will continue as counsel. The arraignment hearing is set for 12 p.m. on June 26.
