• Charles Leroy Lee Hovey made an initial appearance on a ongoing criminal conduct charge and a possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver or manufacture charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on June 29. Bond is set at $100,000 cash or surety. Upon release, Hovey will have 60 days to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court.

• Lane William Winders made an initial appearance on a burglary-second degree charge and a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on June 29. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

• Juan Martin Carrillo Duran made an initial appearance through a Spanish interpreter on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a driving under suspension charge and an open container charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on June 29. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. Upon release, Carrillo Duran will have 60 days to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court. Carrillo Duran is currently under a Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.

• Nicole Renae Goddard made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference on a driving under suspension charge and on an open container charge. Goddard pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. The fine on the open container charge is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330. All payments are due within 30 days.
