• On Saturday, a burglary was reported in the 10 block of East Grant Street.

• On Sunday, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Sixth Avenue.

• On Sunday, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of East Linn Street.

• On Sunday, damage to property valued between $1,000 – $10,000, a burglary and theft was reported in the 200 block of North 13th Street.

• On Monday, Arturo Manzo Macias, 19, was cited for speeding.

Arrests

• On Friday, Joseph Jensen, 27, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Friday, Jesus Morales, 21, was arrested for possession of marijuana-second offense.

• On Friday, Brandon Godfrey, 27, was arrested for interference with official acts and on a warrant.

• On Friday, Gerald Smith Jr., 41, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, David Garrett, 49, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Gary Wheeler Jr., 27, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Saturday, Tyrone Eatmon, 26, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and dominion or control of a firearm or weapon by a domestic abuse offender and on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Shaddare Watkins, 26, was arrested for driving while barred.

• On Saturday, Helena Yanes, 34, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Sunday, Eli Eller, 40, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Sunday, Sept. 16, Salud Castillo, 24, was arrested for possession of marijuana-third or subsequent offense, possession of contraband in a correctional institution, disorderly conduct, assault and conspiring to manufacture or distribute methamphetamine.

• On Sunday, Eden Hernandez, 34, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.

• On Sunday, Aristeo Alba-Hernandez Jr., 39, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.

• On Sunday, Donald Schmidt, 37, was arrested public intoxication-second offense and disorderly conduct.

• On Monday, Arturo Manzo Macias, 19, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Monday, Shaddare Watkins, 26, was arrested for interference with official acts, obstruction of emergency communications and domestic abuse assault-first offense.

Accidents

• On Sept. 10, a vehicle driven by Melissa Dawn Sears, 48, of Marshalltown, was westbound on East Olive Street in the inside lane when it attempted to change lanes and collided with a car driven by a 17-year-old male from Marshalltown. No injuries were reported. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $3,000 each.• On Sunday, a pickup driven by Brent Alan Bjelland, 49, of Marshalltown, was exiting a private driveway when it turned too sharply and struck the front left bumper and fender on a legally parked Honda Accord. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Honda Accord was estimated at $1,500 while the Bjelland pickup was estimated at $200.

• On Saturday, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female from Marshalltown was southbound on Highland Acres Road when it crested a hill and with the rear of a stopped vehicle driven by Jordan Christine Hansen, 28, of Toledo, which was stopped behind a pickup picking up debris on the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the juvenile vehicle was estimated at $2,000 while the Hansen vehicle received an estimated $1,000 in damage.

• On Saturday, a pickup with a trailer on the back driven by Thomas Allan Ogston, 42, of Marshalltown, was eastbound on East Main Street when the trailer hitch broke in half resulting in the pickup turning sharply and entering the south ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Ogston pickup was estimated at $5,000.

• On Friday, Orlando Vasquez, 35, was arrested for driving while license is denied or revoked and no valid driver’s license.

• On Friday, Jesse Little, 38, was arrested for contempt of court/other act or omission of District Court.

• On Friday, Rayann Wells, 24, was arrested on a warrant charging her with violation of parole.

• On Friday, Nakia Daily, 22, was arrested on a warrant charing her with violation of probation.

• On Sunday, Heritade Lopez-Nunez, 18, was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drug.

• On Sunday, Luis Ledesma Perez, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana-first offense.
