Court — Monday

• Brandon Jay Bryngelson made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. Bryngelson pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on March 27 in Magistrate Court.

• Geraldine Rae Vodochodsky made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Vodochodsky pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on March 27 in Magistrate Court. Breanna Nelson is appointed as counsel.

• Matthew Dean Barber made an failure to appear for a contempt hearing charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is rescheduled for 2 p.m. on March 28. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Anthony Paul Fritz failed to make an initial appearance on a driving while license is denied, cancelled, revoked ro suspended charge. The court found Fritz guilty and a fine of $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and court costs of $60 were levied. The total of $397.50 is due within 30 days.

• Raul Ibarra Diaz made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge. Ibarra Diaz pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Matthew Scott Brodie made an initial appearance on a driving while license is denied, cancelled, revoked or suspended charge. Bodie pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Thomas David Libke made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge. Libke pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

Accidents

• On Friday, a Mazda MZ3 was legally parked on Ferner Street when it received hit and run damage to the front end. Damage to the Mazda MZ3 was estimated at $2,500.

• On Friday, a vehicle driven by Marlane Luane Jordan, 68, of Marshalltown, was southbound on South Third Street stopped at the intersection with West Church Street when it proceeded forward and collided with the passenger side door of a minivan driven by Jorge Cervantes-Buenr, 45, of Marshalltown, which was westbound on Church Street. No injuries were reported. Jordan was cited for no insurance and Cervantes-Buenr was cited for no insurance and no valid driver’s license. Damage to the Cervantes-Buenr minivan was estimated at $5,000 while the Jordan vehicle received an estimated $10,000 in damage.

• On Saturday, a car driven by Biak Lal, 27, of Marshalltown, was southbound on South Center Street when it collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Ronald Emmanuel Crawford-Hernandez in then process of stopping. No injuries were reported. Lal was cited for failure to maintain control. Damage to the Lal car was estimated at $2,000 while the Crawford-Hernandez vehicle received an estimated $200 in damage.

• On Friday, Jacqueline Chavarria-Gonzalez, 22, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Hayli Marie Stier, 27, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Jasmin Solis, 19, was arrested for no valid driver’s license, failure to fil SR-22 insurance and driving while license is denied or revoked.
