Rock 4 Vets 2015 in Marshalltown

The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association’s Rock4Vets Marshalltown event is set for Saturday, Nov. 14. IRRMA recognizes our veterans’ sacrifices by hosting a thank you evening of music and dancing in appreciation of their service to our country. Rock4Vets is an annual event that has taken place for more than a decade.

The evening’s entertainment will include The Harvest Band from Newton and IRRMA Spirit Award winner Richie Lee and the Fabulous 50’s out of Des Moines. The concert and dance event will be held in the Marshalltown Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, 20 W. State St., beginning at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

All military veterans and active duty personnel will be admitted free. Admission for others is $10 in advance and $12 at the door, with a portion going to support the Iowa Veterans Hospital Recreation fund. IRRMA invites everyone to join in honoring and celebrating our state’s veterans. Tickets may be purchased at Marshalltown HyVee, Marshalltown Parks & Recreation, the Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce, Newton HyVee and Mattingly Music in Newton.

Taylor’s Maid-Rites will be available for purchase at the event.
