‘Vive La Compagnie’ Men’s Chorus program

The Marshalltown Men’s Chorus will present its 62nd annual Spring Concert at 6:30 p.m. on April 8 in the Marshalltown High School/Community Auditorium. With a theme of “Vive La Compagnie” the program will feature selections that support the theme as translated “Long Live Friendship.”

Some of the songs listed on the program are “Pure Imagination,” “Mister Cellophane,” “Side by Side,” “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.”

Of special note, the guest group that evening will be Quadrasonic — an energetic barbershop quartet from the Sioux City area. A program of musical adventures awaits concert-goers of all ages!

Advance ticket sales at $8 for adults are available from any chorus member or at Younkers, Lowe’s Flowers or Thompson True Value.

Tickets will also be available the evening of the concert at $10 for adults. Children through high school age will be admitted free of charge. Join the Chorus in its 62nd year of history in Marshalltown at 6:30 p.m. on April 8 at the MHS/Community Auditorium.
