Bicycling to give kids and families hope

Youth & Shelter Services of Marshall County Executive Director David Hicks, far right, gestures while speaking to staff and attendees at the organization’s 15th annual Cycling for YSS event Saturday at Grimes Farm. Hicks said YSS has served more than 60 youth who have “aged out” of foster care since July 1, 2016. The organization also assists youth and families in runaway services and crisis intervention counseling. Participants rode from Grimes Farm to points along the Linn Creek Recreational Trail.
