Hometown: Cedar Falls


Family: My parents live on an acreage south of Denver, and I have two siblings in Des Moines area. Spouse is Jeff. We have four grown children and a son who will be a senior at Grundy County High School next year. Oh, and we have the most adorable 3-year old grandson ever!

Pets: I have lots of children — who needs pets?

Hobbies and interests: Cooking, baking and gardening.


Occupation: Vice president, operations of UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown and CEO of UnityPoint/Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center.

What that means: Never a dull moment!

Tenure: Nine years with UnityPoint/Grundy; and approximately two months in Marshalltown. The hospital and clinics are filled with dedicated, compassionate, and skillful leaders and staff — they will be the catalyst to all the successes awaiting UnityPoint Marshalltown.

Best part of job: My greatest reward is people — developing leaders, helping patients, supporting families.

If I could change jobs I would: Be back-up singer on “The Voice” NBC-TV show.


Foods: Anything called pizza — especially if labeled low calorie? 🙂

Sports: Fan of the Ole Miss Rebels in the Southeast Conference.
