‘That’s a lot of pot pies!’

Susan Eberhart, president of the UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown Auxiliary, was heard referencing their popular fall fundraiser recently. Meanwhile, a check for $50,000 was presented to the UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown Foundation at the “Lights and Sirens – Keep them Rolling” event at Elmwood Country Club. It helped launch the 2017 campaign for a new ambulance. Gruendler said a new ambulance is critical for the hospital fleet and the foundation is pleased to focus its 2017 efforts on such a project. “It’s a significant way for us to show the hospital and our communities the foundation is back in action to support local healthcare. We have a great EMS crew under Steve Vannatta and we need to be sure they have reliable equipment. We’re looking forward to this campaign to reconnect with our communities and donors.”
