A night for the Bobcats

Layout 1

ABOVE: Bobcat pride flooded downtown Marshalltown Thursday night as district residents turned out for the Homecoming Parade on Main Street. Along with greeting the Marshalltown High School football team on their semi-truck steed, the crowd saw many of the districts extracurricular programs on display during the parade. And, of course, there were plenty of sirens blaring and assorted candies being thrown. The excitement for tonight’s big game has been building throughout the district this week, with each day having a theme like “tropical” or “throwback.” AT LEFT: After the parade, students made their way to the Marshalltown High School Community Auditorium for a pep rally and to witness the crowning of this year’s Homecoming King and Queen: Lucas Duff and Gretchen Benscoter.
