This portrait of Emeline Gourley was donated by her descendant Sarah Brewster of Woodacre, California, to be displayed at the Historical Society’s newly acquired property, the Mowry Irvine Mansion, located at 503 W. Main St. Emeline is the great-great-grandmother of Madelyn Mowry Irvine, who donated the residence. The home will be available for touring from Dec. 29-31, for a minimum donation of $5 for members and $10 for non-members of the Historical Society. It is also available for private tours and events.
