Friday afternoon, an ice skating rink was set up at the corner of South 1st Avenue and East Main Street, as part of this year’s Holiday Stroll festivities, which will run from 4-8 p.m. today, with a variety of activities and entertainment offered at various downtown entities. The skating rink will be open for business today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12-6 p.m. The rate is by the half hour and skates are available to rent. Kaci Uhde, left, and Mia Barajas, were two of the first skaters to take a spin on the ice.
