An old-fashioned Christmas in State Center

No Christmas celebration would be complete without a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Watson’s Grocery Store was the site of the meet-and-greet. Kids ranging in age from six months old to preteen chatted with Santa about what they wanted for Christmas, and went home with some candy. State Center’s Old-Fashioned Christmas on Main wowed attendees during its Friday night celebration. From s’mores making, to wine tasting, a yarn ball snow ball fight and live entertainment, this year’s event had a little something for everyone. Horse-drawn trolley rides around the downtown were popular with folks of all ages. No Christmas celebration would be complete without a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
