Vandee

A Marshalltown man faces charges after threatening a Marshalltown police officer and his family with violence. Capt. Brian Batterson of the MPD said Robert Vandee, 33, was charged with harassment-first degree after he threatened the officer who was arresting Vandee for domestic abuse/assault-first offense. Officers had been initially dispatched on a report of domestic abuse to a residence in the 200 block of North Center Street. “The victim had some injuries, but nothing requiring medical attention,” said Batterson of the MPD. Vandee was transported to Marshall County Jail. He is being held on $10,000 cash only bond.
