Woman charged with obstructing justice
A local woman was arrested by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy last week and taken to Marshall County Jail for a host of charges stemming from an incident in the 2800 block of Smith Avenue.
Alexandria Shadden, 21, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of controlled substance – marijuana first offense; obstructing prosecution or defense and permitting an unauthorized person to drive.
A criminal complaint said the defendant knowingly, with the intent to prevent the apprehension of, or to obstruct the prosecution of defendant Mathew Cook, furnished false information she was operating a vehicle with the intent it be used in the trail of that case.
