The Willows Grand Opening held

Dozens turned out Sunday for the The Willows of Marshalltown Assisted Living and Memory Care grand opening. Owners Ben and Mira Daniels were joined by Executive Director Liz Zuercher and staff in welcoming guests at the facility in the 2300 block of Campbell Drive. They included among others, Mayor Joel Greer and former Mayor Jim Lowrance. The 50,215 square-foot facility estimated to have cost $13.3 million. Additionally, The Willows has 34 full-time equivalent employees with an estimated $1.3 million in payroll. The Daniels’ market studies identified a need for memory care units in Marshalltown, and ownership and staff have worked aggressively to let the community know of availability. Ben Daniels said recently rental of memory care apartments and assisted living have exceeded expectations. For more information, telephone 641-758-3123 or visit willowslife.com.
