High voter turnout in Marshalltown, state

This graphic shows the number of in-person votes for each Marshalltown precinct.

Iowans turned out in record numbers for the general election. More than 1,320,000 votes have been tallied as of Wednesday morning. That is the highest mark for a mid-term election in state history. The previous record was set in 2014, with 1,142,311 votes, according to the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office.
