Born Marjorie Frances Cooper on November 19, 1920, in Toledo, Iowa, she was one of five children born to F.C. and Nellie (Chitty) Cooper. Marjorie graduated from the Toledo High School in 1938. On December 2, 1939, she was united in marriage to Charles Norman Dunham in Grundy Center, Iowa. Mrs. Dunham helped Charles farm for many years as well as being employed as secretary to Gene O’Neal at Dunham-Bush and hostess at the Thunderbird Restaurant. Marjorie was an avid golfer and accomplished every golfer’s dream – a “hole in one” when she was in Arizona. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, ceramics and dancing with the love of her life, Charles. May she now be dancing again with him in Heaven. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Red Hat Society.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Charlene (the late Sid) Roseland and Larry (Criss) Dunham; grandchildren: Jodi (David) Riesetter, Jason (Kathy) Roseland, Kiffany Kiewiet and Sarah (Scott) Schuler; great-grandchildren: Morgan (Travis) Daters, Jay Riesetter (Kelsey Brockman), McKenzie (Ty) Standley, Karsey (Adam) Mueller, Taylor (Cody) Fevold, Talon Roseland, Konnor, Breanna, and Alexa Schuler and Mason Kiewiet; and great-great-grandchildren: Colbie Rae and Corie Jean Fevold and Shayd Valentine Standley. Also surviving is her sister, Shirley (the late Allen) Hall and many nieces and nephews.

In death, Marjorie rejoined her husband and siblings: Russell (Gerta) Cooper, Velma (June) Welton and Neva (Norman) Dunham.
