Glenna Lucille (Finders) Speas, 85, of Denver, CO, formerly of Ferguson, IA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 25, 2017, at the Mountain Vista Senior Living in Wheat Ridge, CO. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2017, at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 West Main Street, Marshalltown, IA. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services. Glenna was born in Ferguson, IA, on December 1, 1931, to Bert J. Finders and Beulah Mae (Allen) Finders. Glenna was the second of two beautiful daughters born into this marriage. She attended grade school in Marshall County and attended the Ferguson High School where she graduated salutatorian and where she met the love of her life, Clyde O. Speas. They both graduated from Ferguson High School in 1949 and enrolled at Northwestern Bible School, Minneapolis, MN. Glenna graduated from Northwestern Bible School in 1952. Glenna and Clyde were married in Marshalltown on August 24, 1951. They celebrated 62 years of marriage before the passing of her beloved husband. They had two children David Ray and Dianne Ruth. Glenna and Clyde, along with David and Dianne, lived in Jerusalem, Israel, while Clyde took studies there. They also lived in Minneapolis, Boulder City, NV, Yuma and Phoenix, AZ, and Denver, CO, pastoring churches in these areas. In 1978, after her children were grown, Glenna took a position as Legal Secretary for Kutak Rock, a prominent law firm located downtown Denver, where Glenna excelled and enjoyed 15 years of service. Glenna enjoyed playing piano, the mountains, traveling, shopping, enjoying time with her children and family, but mostly loved being beside her husband.

Glenna is survived by her son, David (Becky) Speas, of Wheat Ridge, CO, daughter Dianne (Dean) Leffler, of Prior Lake, MN; sister Virginia (Robert) Cowley, of Ames, IA, and grandchildren: James (Kristin) Leffler, of Shakopee, MN, Tina (Kevin) Martin and great-grandchildren: Dylan, Mackenzie and Makayla Martin, of Goshen, IN; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Beulah Finders, and husband Clyde Speas.
