Easter dessert ideas
With Easter coming up, I have some dessert recipes to share.
Chocolate Sour Cream Bundt Cake
1 pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix
1 (3oz.) pkg. instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. water
1 c. sour cream
1(12 pkg.) chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, water and sour cream. Beat with electric mixer for 4 min. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool. Dust with confectioner’s sugar if desired.
Angel Food Crunch Cake
1 angel food cake
1 pint whipping cream
1 jar butterscotch ice cream topping
5 Heath bars
Cut cake into three layers, Beat whipping cream until peaked. Fold in topping and crushed candy bars. Ice each cake layer with this whipped cream mixture. Chill at least 2 hours.
Angel Food Cherry Pudding Cake
1 prepared angel food cake
1 package cherry Jell-O
1 package raspberry Jell-O
1 can cherry pie filling
Break cake into bite size pieces and put in 9- by 13-inch dish. Prepare Jell-O according to instructions on box. While warm, pour Jell-O over cake pieces Refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, spread cherry pie filling over cake and top with whipped cream.
