Overwhelmed with gratitude for community
There are times in life where the words thank you are so insufficient in their ability to convey the level of gratitude you have for someone or a group of people based on what they have done for you. This is one of those times.
After losing our beloved Michael, in a tragic house fire last week, we have experienced awe inspiring love. We owe many thanks to the very generous people in our community and surrounding communities. Thank you for the meals, the clothing, the donations and your overwhelming support.
A special thank you to Marty Mitchell, Mike Kirk and the staff at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Also the staff at Riverside Cemetery. You are the most compassionate people we know and we are extremely grateful for your wonderful care.
A heartfelt thank you to Pastor John Whitehead. Thank you for the meaningful service and your kind words. We are so appreciative that you were there with us.
A warm thank you to the Marshalltown Fire and Police Departments for their quick response and compassion. Also the staff at MMSC. We know this was very hard for all of you also.
A big thank you to our family and friends. You are our rocks, our shoulders to cry on and our world. Thank you for being there at this very difficult time. We love you!
