Sodders works hard for us

With all the recent frustration at the Iowa State Capitol, it is nice to know that our state Sen. Steve Sodders, is still fighting for our best interest. As a deputy sheriff and a state senator, Steve Sodders embodies the role of a public servant. In each of his roles, Sen. Sodders is committed to improving the quality of life for all Iowans.

He was an avid source for us to go to when the Iowa Juvenile Home was under scrutiny. He took the lead and advocated for the youth that needed a safe place like IJH. He’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes in and shows no fear in fighting for what is right in state government. He is a leader and very accessible.

Sen. Sodders has spent a good portion of his summer going from door to door, receiving feedback from people throughout or community on legislative projects to focus on while in Des Moines. How many people can say their state senator came to their door to ask them for their genuine feedback, rather than their vote? We need more sensible, hardworking, and attentive legislators like Steve Sodders in Des Moines.
