Heart belongs to Marshalltown
I recently encountered a “young” man who heard me talking about Marshalltown. He rudely butted in to say there was nothing in Marshalltown but a road that went through it to “somewhere else.” I differed with him to no avail. His opinion came from graduating with a degree from Area 6. He never heard of Fisher Controls, etc. What I am asking for is an update on the fair city to show him and others. No, I don’t have a name for him — he was apparently a visitor of the person I was talking to.
Thank you from a Marshalltown native since 1942-2012. My heart is still there.
