Black Dirt Days a success

Well, the game is over. The turnout was great, the food was fantastic and the weather could not have been better. The 2018 Black Dirt Days Event is in the history books and I am so happy with the way that it turned out.

As the chairperson of the committee I can honestly say that the committee strives to make each year filled with quality events. Every year brings its own challenges and rewards. As I have said many times it takes a lot of volunteers, donations and cooperation to make it all come together. I also want to encourage anyone that has thoughts or suggestions to contact any member of the committee to discuss.

We are a community of caring people who reach out to one another as needed and I believe, truly enjoy working and playing with each other. I am thankful to be the Black Dirt Days Chairperson and that I am entrusted with your donations and best interests to present a weekend each year that you can look forward to.

If you are a volunteer and/or a donor and I have not personally thanked you, please accept my heartfelt appreciation. A huge thank you to the Black Dirt Days Committee members who take time to meet and volunteer to be the backbone of the event. The committee members are: Betty Haker, Frank Haker, Candy Voss, Chad Mull, Lisa Mull, Joni Zacharias, Katie Richter, Krista Grant, Lindsay Kuhl, Lori Phillips, Lucas Halverson, Lynne Kock, Mindy Frye, Nicole Stone, Stacey Hines, Jason Hines and Coby Willett.

This is your event Conrad and until next year…see you where the “Black Dirt” is plentiful.
