Marshall County Sheriff Steve Hoffman and I would like to personally thank the thousands of community members who gave both their personal time and monetary donations to help us reach our goal of raising over $768,000 for the Marshalltown Area United Way Campaign in 2018. Not only were we able to reach our goal, but we were able to raise over $773,000 by the conclusion of this year’s campaign.

Because we are all proven to be Marshalltown Strong, the Marshalltown Area United Way is better prepared than ever to help thousands of children and families achieve their full potential and lead healthy, productive lives. By participating in this year’s campaign, you have helped unite all of us in our effort to make a real and lasting difference in our community. Your gift and continued support of our United Way brings hope and opportunity to the lives of so many by providing for basic needs, helping support family services, crisis services, mental health and creating environments that nurture positive development of our children and youth.

Because the Marshalltown Area United Way actively manages and evaluates the effectiveness of each of its community partner agencies and their respected programs, you can be certain that your gift will be invested in helping those in need within our community.
