It's bone dry out there

The heat wave may have died down a bit but we have still been without rain for 10 days. The rain we had 10 days ago was very light so it’s not like that was a gully washer either.

I know my lawn is looking kind of pathetic and brown right now. The good news is, it’s allowed me to hold off on mowing it for a few days since it refuses to grow.

It’s been so long since it’s rained that I’ve almost forgotten what rain sounds like. There is rain in the forecast for later this week, so hopefully things will green up soon.
