Aquatic Center to go to dogs

The 2011 Aquatic Center season wraps up by going to the dogs. The third annual doggie dip is Monday night and it will no doubt be a canine's paradise. Here are the details from Marshalltown Parks and Recreation as the dogs must have some paperwork before they can go buckwild.

The 3rd Annual Doggie Dip will be held August 22nd at the Marshalltown Family Aquatic Center! Dogs of all sizes are welcome during two separate time sessions. Dogs 25 pounds and under will be allowed to swim from 5:30 – 6:30 pm and dogs 26 pounds and over will be allowed to swim from 6:45 – 7:45pm. Cost is $5.00 per dog. Humans are free. Dogs will need to have current rabies certificate or letter from their vet stating they are up to date on their vaccinations. No dogs in heat allowed. Rules and regulations can be obtained at our office or the Aquatic Center.
