Rookie Blue: A satisfying season

September 12, 2011 - Pam Rodgers
I know I said I wasn’t going to talk about my summer shows, but I just can’t help it. I watch Rookie Blue on ABC and season two was fantastic. The show aired its finale last week and I have no complaints. There was no big cliffhanger, just resolution and possibilities for the future.

The hour long cop drama has followed the new recruits into their second year and I can’t wait for season three. Season two surpassed the stellar season one. The plots were better and you can tell the cast is fully comfortable with each other in their second year. Its is a wonderful summer replacement for my regular prime time programming.

If you don’t watch the show, it is definitely worth checking out. Season one in on DVD and I have recently re-watched all 13 episodes and found out why I was attracted to the show initially. Season two can be watched online at abc.com or I’m sure the DVD set will be out in the near future.
