Oktemberfest parade highlights

One highlight this year included the giant Kwik Star cow. Not sure what it was made of or its exact height, but it was pretty huge atop a rolling float. I overheard one kid say "that's better than the butter cow."

There was also a young man swinging on a tire midair in the Larry's Towing entry. It appeared pretty dangerous, though he didn't look too scared. His swinging got pretty big gasps from the audience in my area.

Then there was a guy doing push-ups on the Anytime Fitness float. Not sure how many of those he did, but since the parade lasted a couple of hours, I can imagine it was plenty.

The key thing is it stayed dry this year, which is something everyone was hoping for after last year's soggy celebration.
