| | World Series off to a good startOctober 21, 2011 - Andrew PotterTwo one-run games have started the 2011 World Series, which is now tied up at 1-1 between the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals. The series now shifts to Texas for three games beginning Saturday night. I'm not a Cardinals fan, but kudos to St. Louis for providing an electric atmosphere for the first two games of the Fall Classic. Both games have been low-scoring, nail-biters but we'll see once it shifts to the warmer weather in Texas. I have feeling the Rangers bats are getting ready to erupt just as they have been doing previously in the postseason. But it looks like these teams are pretty evenly-matched, so a seven-game series would not surprise me.
