Coping with the winter weather

We have been spoiled this winter by not having to deal with our usual winter weather concerns. I for one was very happy that I didn’t have to worry about slick roads and mountains of snow. This past week has brought our winter back to “normal,” so to speak.

One thing is for sure, it’s not as bad as it could be. I am not happy to have to worry about the roads while driving or to have to step carefully on the icy walkways to avoid breaking a vital body part, but it’s to be expected at some point during the winter in Iowa. But I can definitely handle what we have so far.

So I ready to “buck up” and ride out this winter and pray that it doesn’t get much worse than this. Pray with me please. :)
