Blue kids drawing attention around town

April 11, 2012 - Bennet Goldstein
The blue cut out children around town have drawn quite a buzz, said Laurie Gowdy of Child Abuse Prevention Services. The cut outs are to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Gowdy said many businesses have inquired about having them but they are fresh out this year. They were made by the industrial technology students at Marshalltown High School.

As a reminder CAPS will have a special Stand up for Children recognition ceremony at 12:15 p.m. April 27 on the Marshall County Courthouse lawn.
