| | Petty selected for STEM councilAugust 7, 2012 - Andrew PotterBCLUW and GMG schools Superintendent Ben Petty has been selected to be a part of Gov. Terry Branstad’s STEM Advisory Council. The council provides leadership in launching the STEM initiative in schools across the state, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. “I'm happy to be representing BCLUW and GMG, as well as our region and its economic interests, in this capacity,” Petty wrote in an email.
