Comedian at MCC Oct. 16

Comedian Jessi Campbell will perform a free show at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Student Union at Marshalltown Community College. Pick up a copy of Thursday's Times-Republican (Oct. 11) for a preview story on her show, which can be found in the Applause entertainment section. This event will be open to the public and will be one of many public entertainment events at MCC over the next several months. One of the highlight acts will be the return of hypnotist Jim Wand, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 23. MCC will host another comedian, Samuel Comroe, at 7 p.m. Feb. 18.
