I'm not going to win Powerball

Well, I went into buying a $2 Powerball ticket Tuesday with the odds already stacked against me — like 175 million to 1. Then, after I played the Quick Pick and saw my numbers I’m convinced I am doomed for Wednesday night’s $500 million drawing. For starters, my Powerball number is 01 — ouch. Then four out of the five other numbers are between 48 and 58. Again, not good numbers and so much for the “random selection” of Quick Pick. So, I’m not going into Wednesday night with much optimism. Maybe next time the jackpot reaches an enormous amount I’ll pick my own numbers to get more of a random selection. Then again, with those odds it might not even matter. I guess I could go ahead and buy another $2 ticket in hopes for better numbers, but I don’t think I will. I’m going to ride my crummy numbers all the way to the end. Besides, it’s so much more fun to complain about them.
