Rain, rain go away

July 2, 2014 - Brett Van Waus
Rain, rain, go away, you’re messing up my golfing days. As I recall, the first week of July is suppose to be filled with sun, fireworks, picnics, friends, family, barbecues and outside activities. Wednesday I wore a jacket because the high was 62 degrees. That’s winter weather. What’s up with that? I’m shivering just thinking about it. I’d rather have it be humid and hot than anywhere in the 60s in the summer. Am I crazy, not really. I just love the sun and how am I suppose to get some color in 62 degree weather? I can’t. According to the National Weather Service the weather will be warmer, thank goodness. Hopefully the rain will take a long break and the roads will open so we can move on with our summer. My fingers are crossed.
