Bad timing for Mexico trip
April 28, 2009 - Andrew Potter
Monday was not exactly the best day for my brother to leave with his wife on a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Yes, that Mexico. Their plane left in the morning and by noon the Center for Disease Control advised people cut out all non-essential travel to Mexico due to the swine flu. Needless to say this had my parents more than a little concerned. We did get an email from my brother mid-day Tuesday saying “no one seems concerned about the swine flu here” and saying he did see people with masks in the airport but that was about it. Here’s hoping everything works out OK.
